Welcome to A Serenity Place

SERENITYA Serenity Place (ASP) is a closed, online Al-Anon email meeting. We meet twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. There is a new meeting every day of the week, with the chair announcing the topic some time during that day. Some days of the week are structured topics and others are open topic. Structured topics focus on themes such as the Steps or the Slogans. Open topic meetings are at the discretion of the chair.

We consider ourselves an Al-Anon Family Group like any other. We follow the Twelve Traditions of Al-Anon and conduct business like any face-to-face group. A Serenity Place (ASP) pays particular attention to the “obstacles_to_success,” also known as the “Practical Application of the Twelve Traditions.” To find out more about A Serenity Place (ASP), please see the ASP Founding Statement & Policies.

A Serenity Place is a closed meeting of Al-Anon Family Groups. We specifically ask that you affirm your adherence to the Third Tradition: “The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend.” If you have any questions about your qualifications for Al-Anon, you may wish to read our 20 Questions.

If you would like to join us, please click on this link and respond to the brief questionnaire.
