[Businessmtg] Valentine's Day-a day late

Hi everyone, Valentine's Day = Hallmark revenue $$$ :)  Like most things these days, February 14 showed up before I was ready to see it.  Things have changed for me, though, because gone are the days I ran around making myself crazy trying to please everyone and ensure they had a good day and felt loved.  Today I looked in my card box (yes...I'm a card nut) and found some cards from last year, I stopped at the store and bought a 6-pack of A&W Root Beer and A&W Creme Soda (3 of each) and decorated each one with curly ribbon and added them to the 3 small boxes of Hershey Kisses candy and gave it all to the three kids.  I sent my son an e-card of a singing Pug with big ole teeth super-imposed (his other "mom" has 2 pugs) and told my partner to pass on the gifts .... lets just have a nice dinner with the kids.  I'm a member of another 12 step program who offered a telephone meeting marathon today so I got to visit with some of my "virtual" friends for a meeting.  Nice.  Spending a nice evening with my family where we share our love is exactly my idea of Valentine's Day.  I recovered myself enough to move beyond the fantasy Valentine's Day and took this day as an opportunity to tell those I love that I love them.  Nice again.  Yes, it really is that easy. :))) And I love all of you, too.  Thank you. Kathy
