Hi everyone,
 
I appreciate everyone's input on the issue of what to do with the excess monies.  My opinion is that as an online group, we are pioneers.  It is frustrating to not be included or responded to but I believe we must continue to ask to be heard and we need to contribute to the WSO to prove our viability as an Al-Anon meeting.  Change is never easy and almost always slow - I think most of us know that <very big grin here> - 
yet we must keep principles above personalities and operate as the Al-Anon meeting/group we know we are.
 
I like the idea of a newcomers packet but can certainly understand the restrictions since we are an online group.  Perhaps an attachment to the second greeting letter of one of the free pieces of literature would be an option...I would have to investigate this further before I make too many comments on what I believe might be appropriate. 
 
We may be an unrecognized source of support for those suffering from the disease of alcoholism but like it was stated...we are growing.  There is strength in numbers.  :)
