[Businessmtg] KBDM process and newcomers packets

I believe we were to use the KBDM process on a trial basis.

I would like to know how long the trial was to last.

My preference would be to return to using Robert's Rule of Order.

It is more expedient , especially when meetings are held on alternate months
only.

It takes a very long time to vote on the issues we are addressing.

 

We always stress that new members to Al-Anon should attend a f2f meeting if
at all possible,

where newcomers packets are available.  I question whether or not receiving
a packet in the

mail might in some cases cause a problem to those who are living in volatile
situations. My

opinion is that we encourage new members to attend a f2f meeting and we
should not  purchase the

packets to send in the mail.
