My thanks to Elvina, Beth and Jerry.

 

I for one (and I do count) am tired of the same old, same old negativity re:
the WSO.

The Al-Anon program has taught me to stay in touch with my Higher Power and
to pray and meditate.

When I pray, I talk to my HP. When I meditate, I listen to my HP.

Through this process, I have come to the understanding that I cannot support
using monies from the group's treasury to send anyone to the Pittsburgh
convention.

We will be spending treasury money to mail Newcomers Packets as we voted to
do so.

I suggest that any remaining funds over and above the prudent reserves be
sent to OLA.
