Morning all,
I thought best to sit and read for a while being my first time out so  
to speak.
Announcements are a vital piece of f2f meetings and my recovering.   
It is what keeps us informed.  I learned patience while waiting for  
"the meeting to start."  As I learned to listen, I also was getting  
ready to get busy.  I learned the meeting had already begun.
I suggest picking a day of the week to include in the meeting format  
announcements that are for the good of Al-Anon and ASP.  Perhaps this  
is a way of reaching many recovering willing members.
