[Businessmtg] Treasurer

I understand the logic of the thinking, but as with so many things, trying
to control the details often creates more problems than solutions. When I
started accepting donations to transfer the operation of ASP over to the
group, I put the money in one of my credit union accounts. The idea was to
simply isolate those funds from my personal funds.

Then, when Jerry became treasurer, he opened an account where it worked for
him. I did a similar thing when I was an A-Anon Area Treasurer. The Area
had been using a national bank that worked for the Area, but it didn't work
for me, so I changed it. IMHO, the bank is a tool that the treasurer will
be using during their term so it needs to work for them. We don't know what
tool will work for the next treasurer, so why not just do what works best
today?

Hugs,
Steve
