I like the good orderly method currently used, where (as I understand  
it) ( speaking as a former bookkeeper ) the bank and accounts,  
including the account number, and perhaps on-line banking, if used,  
all are static. The only change is the signature card on file. Even  
the statements can be set up for electronic delivery which can be  
changed with an easy on-line change of e-mail address.

Keeps it real simple and effecient.
