Hi All,
 
I agree that a year of ASP membership and participation should be a
prerequisite to an ASP elected officer position.  The online environment
adds another dimension to the Al-Anon meeting that is quite different
from a F2F meeting.  Taking the time to become a part of the meeting
helps the election process along.  As business meeting members, not only
do we vote on a resume submission we vote on the person.  And it is much
harder to get to know folks in cyberspace.
