Biz-Pals, 

  

I wish to express and have recorded a disagreement 

with the determination that there is no concensus 

regarding supporting Al-Anon's WSO. 

  

If it has been calculated that a consensus of the 

speaking members of ASP's Business Meeting does not 

support WSO support, or that a consensus actually 

exists to not support the WSO then there is some 

serious misunderstanding of what being an Al-Anon 

Meeting's responsibilities are. 

  

Perhaps rather than awaiting the hour when the exact 

wording of respondant's choice of words creates or 

rejects a consensus, we could ask a simple question 

and thereby better discern whether there is, or is not, 

a consensus. 

  

I would propose that we ask the Business Committee this 

specific question: 

  

"Do we support regular donations to the WSO or do we not?" 

  

Then we'd get an answer that isn't subjective and which 

would guide us toward a position under which we can all 

be Unified. This decision to continue hoarding group funds 

is not acceptable to me. 

  

Our 5th Concept assures that even minority positions be 

heard and considered. I stand to ask that consideration.
