1.  Sending quarterly percentage rather than a quarterly amount as support
beyond ASP.

 

I am in favor of sending $500. Of our excess over the prudent reserve to WSO
and then setting a quarterly amount that the Treasurer would send without
having to go through the steering committee/Business Meeting. Nothing that
we do is written in stone and if we don't have the funds then we would have
to re-evaluate.   

 

2. Whether WSO serves the world or just North America.   (And any world
alternative should you have that thought.)

 

I  am not sure what this has to do with the discussion.  However I refer you
to the Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual 2010-2013 page 127

Service office does around the world.  

 

There was a comment made previously about calling it the "World Service
Office"  - well you will have to ask Lois W. (our co-founder)why she chose
to call it the World Service Office.  

 

If this meeting is not getting information from World Service Office then
maybe we have not provided them with the contact details.
