[Businessmtg] Business Meeting

Thank you Sandie.

I agree that I'd like to see:

A: An annual review of "D". There may be special projects that warrant our
attention. While I certainly have ideas regarding what I'd like to see
happen, my crystal ball looks more like something the cat drug in.

B. Monthly passing of the basket.

Hugs,
Steve

Re: Compromise

. ASP donate 50% of the funds in excess of the prudent reserve to WSO.

B. ASP donate 20% of the funds in excess of the prudent reserve to OLAOC
(aka OLA-IS).

C. ASP donate 20% of the funds in excess of the prudent reserve to GSO's of
countries representing members of ASP - details to be determined by the
Steering Committee. If the country only has a AIS would we support them? I
think most countries would accept the funds in U.S. $.

D. ASP hold in trust 10% of the funds in excess of the prudent reserve for
donation to Al-Anon service arm(s) that specifically serve and represent
online meetings. Said service arm must allow for participation by a
representative from ASP to qualify. Possibly fund for special projects?

E. ASP repeat the process outlined by A thru D above on a quarterly basis.

Thanks Steve for putting this together - I can live with it. I would like to
see us move forward. I would suggest that

D. funds be reserved for special projects and that this be reviewed
annually. We may see some area down the road where we can support
world-wide Al-Anon electronically. Possibly we can find out what the other
on-line meetings do for Seventh Tradition. Nothing is written in stone and
we can always go back and review/revise.

Secondly off topic but I would like to see the basket passed at least once
per month!

Al-Anon Love & Hugs

Sandie
