Not a pain at all.  I asked someone about it, and then went ahead and
researched it.  It said with a small group, the chairperson can make a
motion.  At a convention, no.  But perhaps that is wrong.  I looked back
for years in the ASP Business meetings, and often there isn't a motion when
only one person is on the ballot.  There wasn't a motion when I was
elected, and you ran the meeting.  :)
