I think there are some great ideas here and it is wonderful to see so much
participation.

I see both sides of the issue in regards to OT.  My opinion is that OT is
important to offer and should not be limited, yet when it is abused or
excessive, it can interrupt the flow of the daily meeting.   I remember as
a newcomer how it helped me.  I understand how important it can be to the
newcomer and sometimes to the person who doesn't have a sponsor.  I think
revisiting these subjects as daily topics would be a great idea.

I really like the idea of a beginners meeting. Perhaps one day a week.   I
was fortunate enough to go to a beginners f2f meeting when I first found
Al-Anon and they offered many answers to questions I didn't even realize I
had.   Much like the CAL that is available in our f2f meetings, people who
live remotely or have not gone to f2f meetings may not have this
information to refer to.  How Al-Anon works!

The option of a gentle written reminder is great and can't hurt to be
included daily yet, I  feel that no matter what, there is always going to
be someone who doesn't read the directions.

I think because we don't have the same options as a f2f meeting such as a
phone list, or a person that is standing there to give or get a hug and how
to go about finding a sponsor.  It would be great if we could find an
option that takes its place.

Maybe we could have an email list of people that would be willing (similar
to the phone list) people that would be available if someone needed or
wanted to reach out or had a question.
