I'm having a difficult time with the discussion.
By following the Traditions of Al-Anon ourselves, by using the tools of the program myself, by focusing on 
how I share, I believe Step 12 and Tradition 5 in particular, work and teach.
 
When I came into these rooms so many years ago, I did not stay on topic.  I did not focus on program.  I didn't 
hear or care about a bunch of rules.  I was bewildered, lost, emotionless and filled with despair.  I don't recall anyone saying to me that I could not say this or that, that I wasn't speaking or working Al-Anon, or that perhaps I was in the wrong meeting or wrong place.
The only things I remember today that I heard was:
Keep coming back.
Linda, do you have a sponsor?
Keep coming back.
Do you have a phone list?
Keep coming back.
Do you have the free pamphlets?
Keep coming back.
Do you have a sponsor?
Keep coming back.
 
Eventually, the majority of us get it because we want the peace and serenity and laughter and life that we see,
hear and feel, in these rooms.
The program works if I work it and the tools are here.  In time, I learn.
