Thanks Steve for you analysis of the Off Topic posts, it does put it in perspective. 

1. Yes - I believe we should leave as is. 

The next two items are really Off Topic for the Off Topic portion  of our agenda! 

2. We need to streamline the new member greeting email. (I have streamlined the one that goes out from the List Administrator). The new member greeter email from the greeter is almost a duplication of the one sent automatically from the List Admin. 

3.  I believe we need a list of temporary sponsors, besides the requests that we see in the recovery meeting for sponsors I also receive a number of emails requesting how to find a sponsor. I tell them to find someone whose share resonates with them from the postings. Unfortunately we have a number of members who do not share on a regular basis who have a good strong program. 

The list would have to be updated regularly probably by the List Administrator and could either be posted or simply held by the List Admin and available if they ask. As someone said it really would be no different from a telephone list given out at a regular meeting.
