Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that this is not a voting matter.
Compliance with with the law is not a matter of a vote, IMO :)
Since I had never seen this letter up until this was raised in the business
meeting, I was unaware we were not complying with our usage terms. I will
take the following steps, all of which are under my jurisdiction as the
chair of the daily chair committee:
1) I will amend the instructions to the daily chairs so that it is in line
with our permitted use. I will ask Jane to post this once the steering
committee has been apprised of the change.
2) I will black out Sandie's personal information on the letter PDF and ask
that Jane post it as a link on our daily chair instructions so that the
daily chairs have access to the actual letter if there are any questions.
Again, this will be done after the steering committee is apprised of the
change.
3) I will amend my personal instructions and reminders to the daily chairs
to make sure it is in line with this information.
Thank you for bringing this up.
