[Businessmtg] Quoting Cal

I disagree. I do this to curtail, leave out, focus on only the necessary parts I want to address.
I believe, it's still CAL, but often I find there's too much written in a CAL, which takes away from the topic I choose to discuss and share with the group.
So I believe it shouldn't be issue to quote, but zero in on the topic at hand.

I have noticed lately several instances of only using parts of a paragraph.
In other words, picking and choosing certain words from what the writer was
saying. My understanding according to the letter Sandie referenced that
should not be done. Imho I feel it takes away from the meaning of the quote
as it was written. Does this fit in with the subject of changing the
guidelines?
Thanks, Juanita (JT)
