[Businessmtg] ASP Business Meeting newcomers

I am unable right now to share with a tremendous amount of precision and
review of my share before posting this. My brother is beginning his heart
surgery in 45 minutes and I am very anxious, fearful and trying to LGLG.
Please know that every word I write below comes from a place of
kindness.🙏🏻

I think a welcome committee is a great idea. I think a discussion on what
that committee would consist of and what it is they would do is likely
something for our next business meeting, as we now have one day left in
this business meeting.
 In the meanwhile, perhaps we ask the newcomer when they arrive if they
would like to receive a large welcome from members before we share their
email address?
For me, I had an excessive amount of emails within 24 hours (people
welcoming me, leads with all the shares, OTs ESH etc) and I was immediately
overwhelmed. I was unable or incapable at that time to spend time reading
how to handle this (how to lasso all the emails and figure out what the
heck was going on). I was unable to find someone who could assist me kindly
and patiently with this on the admin side. I was continuously directed to
the website to figure it out myself. Which resulted in me feeling
overwhelmed and not supported in being a newcomer.
I think this conversation is a great one and there have been some wonderful
ideas. Thank you everyone for participating!
