The item on the agenda is we are waiting for resumes for the open positions.  We can sit here and wait for resumes and have no discussions.  

Steering Committee

	Responsibilities
	Contract with necessary service providers
	Domain name registration
	Mailing List hosting
	Web Site hosting
	Administer all technical affairs of ASP
	Implementation of ASP policy & practices
	May make autonomous decisions when needed
	Report to Business Meeting monthly
	Suggested changes to policy & practices
	Generalized report of actions taken


Let Business Meeting there were members asking for the report from the Steering Committee and we were questioned as to why there was no report despite there never having been a report in the 10 years that I have been part of ASP and attended Business Meetings. 

 I as List Administrator  posted a report. My report was questioned as to whether it was from the Steering Committee. I have sent this report to the Steering Committee asking for feedback, they did not choose to add anything.  The report not only covers the Steering Committee but also the questions of what a List Administrator does. 

Another question from Beverly. 
I would like to also make note that the List report includes a change to be
added on to the daily chair email that has not been voted on.  The reply
all.


This topic was discussed briefly in a Business Meeting and one or two Chair people decided themselves to add a note about the not replying all.  It is not a "approved" change to the instructions.
