No. i am not in favor of closing this meeting and moving it to august. the longer we delay and deny that we have issues that need to be addressed the easier it becomes to distance ourselves from the continued ongoing problems that continue to get bigger...not smaller. why are we so afraid to extend this meeting...it makes no sense to do that as nothing has been resolved or discussed.

I will say for myself that we need to qtip this stuff. why is it so hard to practice this in the bm, but to say that we use it in our daily affairs. i agree it is time to bring the legacies back into play and use them as they are designed to be used. not used when its convienient and disregarded the rest of the time.

No one is practicilng alanon spriitual principles when all we can do is keep blaming and bullying each other. see question 2 for the answer to this part of this question. its sad we are not able to get out of our own way and act like professionals for the bm. i would like to hear from the steering committed on these questions. we need to be exchanging information, not keeping it from each other.

I believe it is time for a group conscious inventory to be put out to the membership. afterall, everything done in the bm and on the committees affects all of the asp members, including the chairs & trusted servants. it almost appears as if there is a sense of fear to do this. why? it can only make communication better. also, why would we not be able to get this inventory out to membership now so that it can be discussed at the bm instead of pushing it off...again. if we put it out we can at least begin to get input back.

i do not think we need more information thrown into the mix right now. lets deal with what is in front of us first. also, i am beginning to wonder if instead of taking what we like and leaving the rest, maybe we need to take what we dont like and leave what we do. if we approached it this way, we might actually begin to work on the issues at hand.

6. Do we know anyone who may be willing to take on one of the
vacant roles?
no....but i would not encourage anyone to do this unless we can show we are capable of working with and fixing these issues as a healthy group. putting someone into the middle of this will only confuse matters for them and us.
7. If you do know someone would you be prepared to shoulder tap them for one of
the roles and offer to support them if they put their resume forward?
