What changes would you like to see in ASP?



In general:

 As long as we stick to the Traditions and principles of Al-Anon, I see no
reason to change anything at this time.  However, I must add that I find
the Business meetings to be extremely confusing to me.  I keep coming back
and try to use Listen and Learn.























Specifically regarding this service position:



















What changes do you NOT want to see occur at ASP?

 I would not like to see our one whole meeting divide into categories of
meetings, i.e. off-topic meetings, welcoming meetings, newcomer/oldtimer
meetings etc.

















In what way do you feel you participate or contribute to the group?



 By sharing my ESH and what works for me, honestly and succinctly.

A Serenity Place Founding Statement. Every Al-Anon meeting has a different
‘flavor’. This includes online meetings like A Serenity Place. This page is

 It obviously has "worked" for years.  If I were to want anything changed,
I would only soften the sentence in the first paragraphs that suggest the
reader keep on looking for a meeting.  I would prefer they first be
encouraged to give us a try - perhaps 6 meetings as suggested in our
literature.  However, this is not a "project" for me.  As I said initially,
the statement has obviously worked for a long time.

















Do you have technical or other experience that you feel is significant for
this position?



 No











Describe your concept of how much time you have available to serve ASP and
how accessible you are to the other members of the Steering Committee and
the general membership of ASP.



 I'm retired and feel I have time.  I also have enough program to know that
I also have a life.  I try to keep balance in all my affairs.  I see no
reason that I would not have the time required by the position.
