I agree. Any meeting face to face allows for folks to chat about anything on their mind, not just the chairs topic. In fact the Chair states, : “Please talk about this subject or anything else on your mind or heart you want to discuss, get off your chest.”
Or something to that effect.
I see no reason to separate the two, nor waste time bringing this YET again to a biz mtg, as it's been tossed around so much, it's lost all reason, and no
one seems to have a good answer.
Keeping ASP as close to meeting format as possible seems the correct way to move., Staying as close to face to face Al anon as possible.
But that's just my opinion.
Thanks for reading
Ali

Jane, thank you for the suggestion. I am not in favor of bringing this forward to a vote for next month's business meeting. I see it could complicate things and create basically a separate emailing list which would have to be overseen and maintained. And then who would "police" if people posted to the "wrong" forum. And I would miss many posts probably, speaking for myself. Can you give us the background and rationale as to why you have suggested this so we can better understand what you see as the need?
Thanks
