I really like the idea of this beginners resource as well.  When I was still lost, before finding or understanding Al-anon, having a ready "First Step meeting" online, where I could read and process it on my own time would have been hugely helpful.  I still think it would be helpful on days when I am struggling.
It could also be a good resource for sponsorship, either for those of us who would like to find a sponsor, or those of you who are willing to be sponsors.
