[Businessmtg] Fwd: Reply All

Hi Jerry and all.

Nothing has changed in the last years as far as using the "reply all". It has been a problem in the recovery meeting as long as I have been List Admin, and all the time Cyndi was.

We just saw it happen this morning where someone did a reply all to the lead then deleted the lead.. The initial lead does not show but it was obviously posted as there were subsequent posting on the lead. The Chairperson recognized that something happened and reposted the lead.

In the Business Meeting even though the system does not allow it - the Secretary/moderator is able to go in and override the "block"..

You can reply to a thread, erase the names and post it to businessmtg at asp-AFG.org without there being a problem. Then your posting is in the original thread.

We have not changed any of this!

Rather than have the LA or others have to jump through hoops to repatriate 'reply all' emails to the topic meeting when they're bounced we could make a hard and fast rule NOT to do a thing except perhaps occasionally announce that emails using reply all don't get posted. It'll stop pretty quickly.
