Hi folks,

I just want to remind everyone that we are discussing forming a temporary
committee to report back to the business meeting with recommendations for
newcomers.

At this point we need to not get distracted with what newcomers need. That
is for the committee to hash out. The committee will be able to solicit
input and work with what was said during the March business meeting.

I value what everyone has to say but we have a lot to get through this
month. So let's try not to get off topic so quickly!

I would like Jerry to weigh in on the background to this topic so we have a
basis for what it is. Then we can discuss the matter on the table.
