   My opinion remains to rescind (cancel?) the motion which created the
   beginner packets.

   Thank you for listening and for expressing your opinions in a manner
   that teaches me how relationships work successfully based on Al-Anon
   principles. This is not in my family right now and I need the model.

   Dear Business Meeting Friends,


   I've read the discussion since I stated my opinion that we should
   cancel the motion which created the beginner packets.


   I appreciate everyone adding their thoughts and hearing some history
   and I've been able to reconsider my stance with the new information.


   I think the mailed packets have proven themselves to be a cumbersome
   extra burden without adding value and now that technology has improved
   since the original idea it seems to me even less value. I am of the
   opinion the committee looking at newcomer materials will come up with
   excellent ideas that may or may not include this packet. I would like
   them to be able to work with a clean slate.


   I still think the packets motion should be cancelled. This will be my
   last comment on the issue.


   Thanks for your input that helped me reconsider with some new
   information. Even though I still came to the same conclusion, it was
   helpful to be open to changing my mind.


   To those who were present in the early stages: thank you for your
   participation and service. To those in office who are sensing
   motivation to adjust how you deliver reports: thank you for your
   service as well as your commmittment to excellence in our fellowship.
