[Businessmtg] Recent discussions of steering committee

Sandie,

I'm curious about how you've worded some of your report, so I'd like to ask
a couple of questions:

1. Is this the official Steering Committee report to the Business Meeting?

2. When you say "decision to . . ." and other items in the report (items #1,
#3, #4, #4 (again) and #6) does that mean the Steering Committee reached a
consensus and group conscience?

As I have stated previously there has never been a report to the Buisness
Meeting from either the Treasurer or the actions of the Sterring Committee.


The following are some of the most recent discussions of the steering
committee. 

1). Discussion on whether a specific item needed to be placed on the
Business Meeting agenda. (A request for a discussion on religious references
in the meeting). Decision to monitor discussion for religous references. 

2). Discussion with the Treasurer and the difficulties  of opening a new
Bank Account.(Ongoing and still looking for for answers on opening a new
Bank Account)

3).  Member of the steering committee placed on moderated status due to
overstepping bounds and bullying and or flaming other members on the SC and
in the Business Meeting (Ongoing discussion),

4) Motion on the floor of the Steering Committee.  
I make a motion for the immediate dismissal of Steve from the Steering
Committee and the ASP group. This will need a second, and a vote. This
motion has been seconded and there have been ongoing discussions. 

4).  Discussion on website maintenance, responsibilities of the webmaster,
copyright infringements. Discussion on website on what was approved and what
was not approved. (Next item on agenda).

5). Discussion on Discrepanices in Greeter Letter #2. (Ongoing)

6). Discussion on the use of reply all and emails threads (piggy backing) in
the recovery meeting.  This is being closely monitored and emails are being
sent out by the List Administrator.,
