[Businessmtg] ASP Business: request for action

Dear ASP Business Members and Steering Committee,

I cannot accept this unacceptable behavior/process we have at ASP.  I am
addressing the group to encourage transparency, insight if I am incorrect,
and resolution if possible.

I asked a question regarding Steve as the Founder of ASP, and our trusted
servant on the steering committee and a member of the business meeting. The
list administrator replied only to me regarding this.
It has been stated numerous times that folks benefit from his input as well
as everyone else's, not only this business meeting but every one I have
been in for over a year now.

For the list administrator (or the secretary when chairing BM's/filling in
for the LA) to have sole authority with no checks and balances is *not* my
understanding of AL-Anon. It *is* my understanding that we don't silence
folks because we don't like what they say. There needs to be a way for all
members to feel safe in speaking their truth without being silenced or
moderated (meaning the LA reading our messages subjectively  before
allowing them to come through to the rest of us at ASP) That authority has
proven to be unbalanced and interferes with my ability to determine what
ESH is valuable to me.
