The resume form for Steering Committee service says, "One year's
participation in ASP is a prerequisite to serving as an officer of
ASP.  Participation
may take many forms, but merely having one's email address on the ASP
server is not participation."

This is pretty clear. I know we have talked previously about waiving the
1-year qualification, but at this point, that hasn't happened, and it has
been treated like a hard and fast rule.

So, bottom line, Kristen's willingness is admirable, but until she has a
year in ASP, she doesn't qualify.
