i believe this is a reference point to when Kristen began to work in service with others on the newcomers committee.

If there is any topic/sidebar I left out, where someone wants to have something else fully addressed, please let the group know. To make sure that I capture everyone's topics, please make sure you say something like "Hey Laura - here's a topic I want discussed" :) I'm a bit overwhelmed with the amount of discussion right now.
