[Businessmtg] Suggest a Different Motion in Search of Unity

Biz-Pals,

Old Finnish joke:

Ole and Eino were sitting out by the railroad tracks.
Ole noticed a big steam locomotive roaring toward them in the distance. Eino pointed out a long freight train speeding toward them from the other direction.
So Ole asks Eino, "What you tink, Eino?"
Eino draws a puff from his pipe and says, "I tink dats one hellova way ta run a railroad."

Sounds familiar considering our circumstances.

In search of a reasonable way to find Unity I'd like to hear from others alternatives they may have to the current train wreck we are experiencing. We all must know there has to be a better way than a black or white forced solution.

Here's my initial suggestion: The person who made the currently-announced motion withdraws their motion, then makes a motion similar to the following:

"That the ASP website, as currently posted, be temporarily accepted while the Steering Committee, the Business Committee, and/or other created committees carefully review the differences between the "old" group conscience approved web content and the "new" posted content for future deliberations on final wording."

Most of the improvements Jane made will likely survive. The specific concerns of other's will be addressed and resolved. In time we would end up with web content based on unity and agreement.

Anyway, that's my first shot at this ongoing problem.
