I might be the new kid on the block in this meeting, but I'm not a new kid,
and I've been around the block a few times before.

This whole mess has been so interesting. I've seen this before. Someone
gets elected and seems to think that being a trusted servant gives them the
authority to do whatever they think is right. Or maybe not even right, but
what they want.

I really can't imagine how two trusted servants could think that it is OK
to make so many changes to the web site without permission. I wonder if
they were thinking "It's easier to get forgiveness than permission." It
sure looks like it.

I know we call them trusted servants, but when do we stop trusting someone
we call a trusted servant?  For me, that happens when they break the trust
the group gave them. That's what I see happened here.

While I feel a little sad for them, my heart really goes out to the trusted
servants that we now have to trust to clean up this mess.
