[Businessmtg] Speaking up

It was stated many members are not speaking up. I can understand why. In
the past I gave an opinion and was attacked by a member that wanted to
control everything regarding ASP in general. I can also understand why
members are not willing to stand up for service. Why volunteer your time
just to be criticized. I have been a member of ASP since 2008. I attend
most business meetings but the atmosphere has been very disturbing in
recent months. I'm so confused with all the motions being restated,
multiple emails included in statements, and obvious control issues that I
think I would have to abstain on a vote at this point. We have offices to
fill and this meeting has accomplished very little. Take what you like of
my thoughts and freely use the delete button.
