NOTE: Kristen's Internet is down, so she asked me to wing the opening of the
Business Meeting. 

OK, you knew that from my note a few minutes ago. Well, this is my shot at
getting this meeting rolling. Hopefully, Kristen will be back online by the
time you read this.

Welcome to the January 2018 ASP Business Meeting. 

Please join me in a moment of silence followed by the Serenity Prayer.

The first item on the agenda is the announcement that we have a vacancy for
the Greeter Chair vacancy position. At this point, we are requesting that
any member interested in serving as the ASP Greeter Chair to complete the
resume and send it to Kristen at secretary at asp-afg.org. ASP policy states "A
period of seven (7) days will be available following . . . trusted servant
vacancy announcements" so this item will be open for the next 7 days. 

While we are waiting for resumes for Greeter Chair, we will ask some of our
trusted servants to present their reports. Again, since I'm winging this and
we don't really have an established protocol, I'm going to ask for the
following reports simultaneously. I think this will work just fine, but if
I'm wrong and this gets crazy and the discussion becomes difficult to follow
the, then Kristen will have the opportunity to ask for discussion to focus
on one report at a time.

B.  Treasurer Report

C.  Newcomer Committee Report
