BM members,

The need for transparency of our financials has always been paramount 
here at ASP. Historically, all donations, expenses, fees, balances, and 
etc. have been open to all ASP members by accessing the Treasury Records 
where everything is listed in detail.

Currently these records are not as current as they have always been. Our 
treasurer has experienced personal reasons for being distracted, and it 
is true that ASP has no backup plan is in place. Another part of the 
problem is tied up in the web page correction process which has resulted 
in some records not being posted as that work continues. All of this is 
temporary. When the website gets straightened out this problem goes away 
in short order.

I have reported to the ASP Secretary that I have received, as the List 
Administrator regularly does, copies of our bank's statements which I 
then verified as matching the balance given by our Treasurer. Further I 
personally verified that our single major expense, paying our server 
provider, has been made and that we are current. Individual's donations, 
though, are temporarily not available for member verification. This is a 
problem and we will be resolving it in the coming weeks.
