Thank you, Jerry for sharing your perspective.

Since I have more years experience in f2f and business and service there, I have to agree that the group's I've been in, and still participate in would be applauding with joy that,someone stepped forward and they,would unanimously support them, breathing a sigh of relief that there was resolution - and,also pledging support.
I do realize that this is not f2f, but we still can keep it,simple.  I would choose the simplest way to allow Anne to resign as Archivest in order,to serve as Greeter Chair.

Can she be appointed by Acclaimation of the business meeting participants?
