Hello Kristen. I am looking into the time frames.
In the interim, regarding the webmaster, for Steve to have prepared a
webmaster’s report to give to the BM and added to the agenda for the BM, it
would seem to me that the SC would have asked him to perform duties of a
webmaster to give the report. That being said, why was he not asked to
make up a poll for the vote?
I am not in opposition of Anne and her efforts, i am grateful for her time.
I am in dispute of the procedure to have her as the person to create a poll
for herself to be used as a voting tool. I find this a conflict of
interest.
Also, please be reminded that by creating the poll Ann is serving two
positions, one as archivist and the other as webmaster, if the policy is as
you say, that one trusted servant cannot serve in two positions.
Which leads me to say that if Ann was asked to make up the poll, and Steve
was asked to make up a website report and there really was no problem
asking either of them to perform double duty, this as Ann was asked, and
Steve was asked. Both people are serving two positions temporarily. So
what you are saying to me does not make sense in this aspect.
Like I stated, my dispute is in the fact that Ann has created her own
poll. A conflict of interest. And why wasn’t Steve asked to do this? He
can still be asked to do this. This is a solution that I would be happy
with.
Please help me understand here.
Cordially,
Beverly
