[Businessmtg] Greeter Chair update

Hello ASP Business Meeting Friends,

 

I was elected to the Greeter Chair position in late March 2018.  I spent
several weeks  watching and then supporting our dedicated greeters usher in
new members. There have been a steady stream of inquiries coming in and many
being subscribed to our meeting. 

 

In April, we prepared for the greeter service positions to rotate out, the
greeter volunteer is in the position for one year.    I  put a service call
out to the general membership seeking a new set of 3 volunteers for this
very important position.  We had a few step forward.   We currently have two
greeters, Kim and Eileen.  They stepped into their roles officially on 5/1.
We are now into week 2 and feel like they are getting the hang of things and
a good rhythm going.  I  will be seeking a third greeter and will be sending
out another message to the general meeting soon.

 

The Newcomers committee remains on the backburner, I have no updates at this
time.
