[Businessmtg] Archiving Shares

Hi Friends:
I just wanted to comment that after all the discussion, I am still of the opinion that people's shares not be archived.
For me, it has nothing to do with anonymity. I have shared my story at many workshops and meetings through the years,
have been taped (with my knowledge and permission, and perhaps even without). I have written to the Forum. On ASP, I
choose not to have a separate email address and I use my real name. One of the things I have learned in these rooms that has served me well is that the past is gone, I cannot change it or do it over - I try to live in and for today - tomorrow is unknown.
When I sponsor online, one of the first things I do is assure my sponsee that I do not save their shares, so if they wish to have them or refer to them, it's on their side of the computer. Once I respond, and after we have thoroughly dealt with the subject at hand, I delete our conversation. I don't feel it is my responsibility or my side of the street to keep their story in my files. That's just me -
At my home f2f meeting a month ago, someone brought up the fact that we had 6 years of sign-in books stored and she was very bothered by that. After a lot of discussion, it was the consensus to let those who wished go through the books and copy information they wanted, and then they would be shredded, keeping the latest 6 months only. It was interesting and amazing the discussion and different perspectives that came out - things that never would have occurred to me.
Hugs, Linda
