Hi fellow business members.  When this idea was brought up over a year ago
I thought it would be a good idea.  To date as stated by Jerry, there has
not been *any *activity since it’s inception.  Some of the people who were
involved in it may not even members here anymore.

Also we have not been able to get any response at this time to replace the
treasurer.  I believe we need to focus on the trusted servants needs first
before moving forward with a beginners meeting.  Priority here.

It’s a good plan on paper.  But maybe not realistic at this time.  This is
an online meeting.  The parameters are different in this format.

The instructions for this meeting are fairly straightforward.   If people
want and need the help, they will do what they need to do to get it.  There
are also phone meetings, people can dial into for help.

And the beginner packet issue has also been discussed here in the BM.

The outcome as I remember it, was that it was expensive to order beginner
packets and then would be a lot of time, expense, and storage of materials
involved in distributing, mailing beginner packets.  When it would be
easier to get to a face to face meeting and pick one up.  *Most* people
have access to at least one meeting.

It is nice that the meeting is growing, but I say no go for the time being.


First things first.  I say focus on filling the trusted servants positions.
