Hi BM members,


I have not said anything yet because the reason why I left the Chair
position/SC, I was in, is still here.
There is something going on with the SC again , is that part of why the
secretary is not here and the position is open again.!


I understand the newer members to ASP (new members to Al-Anon or new to
ASP, both) and new to the BM, do not understand this OT/sidebar
information.
I feel this OT information is too imortant to put aside BM after BM.
I do not think the SC will ever put it as a BM topic, if someone asked or
not, because it is about them.
I saw what was going on then and now in the BM.

This is what I found in the founding policies of ASP:
(I will send any and all the page if needed, if I am questioned where I got
it.)

*Steering Committee*

   - Responsibilities
      - Contract with necessary service providers
         - Domain name registration
         - Mailing List hosting
         - Web Site hosting
      - Administer all technical affairs of ASP
      - Implementation of ASP policy & practices
      - May make autonomous decisions when needed
      - Report to Business Meeting monthly
         - Suggested changes to policy & practices
         - Generalized report of actions taken
      - Members elected by the Business Meeting   [3-year term; Panel
   refers to year elected to office]

The part I want to mention is
"Generalized report of actions taken"

The reason why Kristen was put out of ASP and postion was way too
Generalized!

Why is she not even a member of ASP anymore?


Yes they made an autonomous decision and it is a big enough decision that
it needs to be told to the BM and the regular meeting also why.

Communication is something we are learning here in Al-Anon.


If they give us a reason.
Which I do not think they did.
I think I have read all of the BM emails.
If I missed something, please someone forward that email to me and I will
read it.


If the SC wants to approach this on September 22nd okay that is good, but
they need to know now what we may want of them.



I feel Kristen needs to be part of this.
Even if she only listens and never says a word.
This is about her, also.

I want to 2nd Jennifer's Motion of:

"Kristen be rightfully reinstated as ASP Secretary immediately."

 reinstating Kristen as secretary, and let her be part of the BM, of
course, while this is going on.
