I think Steve makes some good points, in breaking down the archiving issue,
in that it is actually 3 issues.

 As in:

1). Stop archiving presently

2). Purging past archiving

3). Discussion about whether or not to future archive

And the only discussion this BM has had is to stop current archiving.   I’m
am not sure now, if this has even been a complete discussion or not? Given
that there have been a few different conversations relating to all three of
these archiving issues.  I agree there may not be a current consensus due
to new information.

And in thinking there may not be a consensus, I am also not sure if we need
to scrap this motion and start over and discuss each of the three issues as
a separate discussion with a separate motion with a separate vote for each.


Since this is all new information for me, I need further clarification
please and I am not ready to vote.
