[Businessmtg] Update - Current ASP Participation Requirement for Greeters

Biz-Pals,  

The minimum seven-day window for discussing ASP participation
requirements for Greeter service ends this Saturday. Warranty 3 suggests
that we aim for unanimity whenever possible. We have choices so could
extend this discussion period if it looks like there's the possibility
we might find this unanimity - or at least a substantial unanimity of
2/3's. Currently any unanimity is clearly lacking. 

Summary of noted minimums to date below (as I read the shares): 

- two for 3 mos. 

- four for 6 mos. 

- three for current 1 yr. 

[Four of these also included suggestions which would accept prior F2F
and online Al-Anon service experience in lieu of ASP participation.] 

With 16 members in this BM, it is clear we're a long way off from the
minimum of the 11 members in agreement needed to move to any motion.

To encourage progress I propose we either 

A) give clear yes or no answers to Anne O's 6-month ASP participation
proposal for Greeters [from ALL 16 members of this Business Meeting - we
need more participation to determine unanimity] with suggestions on what
it would take to change your position: 

~ Keep 1-year ASP participation requirement? Yes/No 

~ Agree with new 6-month ASP participation requirement? Yes/No 

~ What would it take to change your position? (Make specific
suggestions.) 

OR 

B) we move to the next agenda item - ASP participation requirements for
Topic Chairs - which covers similar ground, hoping that a little
cross-pollination might shake loose a little progress, bringing us
closer to agreements for both positions.
