I’m one of those people who don’t qualify I just started ASP about a month
ago. Current policy is 6 months.

I have done service in the 3D world of Al-Anon as GR, District Speaker
Meeting Coordinator, Area Coordinator as Outreach and Diversity. I’m a
current AMIAS. My service sponsor and step sponsor are the same person. I
meet with her twice a week to go over step work. I’m on Concept 12.

Current service plate is full as I’m Media Chair for Portland, Oregon AIS,
ICYPAA Al-Anon Planning Committee 2019 (International Conference for Young
People In AA), Current AMIAS, Alt GR for Thursday Noon Young People’s.

Wanted to be part of the ASP business meetings to get a better
understanding on ASP and how I can let the ASP group know about ICYPAA. I’m
learning that on-Line Al-Anon has a different culture and recovery needs
compared to 3D Al-Anon. The primary purpose of AFG is still the same. I’m
learning through studying the traditions and concepts with my sponsor that
my old attitude of “I know better” is being kept at bay coming into a new
setting like digital Al-Anon. It’s been a fantastic education. That’s where
I’am at.
