~ No new requests for topics for the Business Meeting (BM) have been
reported. 

~ The SC agrees that continued seeking of a resolution to ASP's trusted
servant vacancies should continue to be our BM's topic of choice. 

~ Greeters noted that there has been a fall-off in new requests for
membership. 

  > Al-Anon's website [al-anon.alateen.org] has changed its online
format for finding meetings. Where once all Al-Anon meetings were listed
together, prospective members now must first choose between "Find an
Al-Anon Meeting" or "Find an Electronic Meeting." If a prospective
member chooses "Find an Electronic Meeting" the first thing they see is
a set of filters which limit their options by language, open or closed
meetings, by day of the week or 24/7, or various platforms: Skype,
FaceBook messenger, DiscordApp, Email, Zoom, WhatsApp, and Free
Conference Call App. ASP IS listed at this point, but if prospective
members first choose to use a filter setting other than "Email" email
meetings, including ASP, do not show up on their search. It is currently
suspected that this may be the primary reason for the fall-off of ASP
applicants. 

  > I note that most if not all of the App-based meetings share the same
area code and telephone exchange: (712)432-XXXX (western Iowa.) Why this
would be I don't know at this point. 

  > Also, it does seem to me that the Al-Anon website, by first
differentiating the choice between "Al-Anon Meeting" or "Electronic
Meeting" [not "Al-Anon Electronic Meeting"] prospective members may well
be getting a distorted message.
