[Businessmtg] Ideas to improve willingness

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your courage and willingness to participate in your recovery
through service.  Service saves my life.  It is clearly about me in
relationships......and that takes my willingness and courage to face.
After all my alcoholic is not here and I’m not ever going to be perfect.
Hahaha

My thinking.....
   *Everyone looks forward to the chair’s mail showing up in their daily
email.  Perhaps the daily chair can announce the upcoming business meeting.
 We all get to know them.  The members I was attracted to were all in
service.  Our other serving members here at ASP may not necessarily be
known.
   * Or perhaps the chair can announce the need, requirement and who to
contact for questions or interest.
   *Perhaps each of us who do regularly participate can use our shares to
tell our service recovery story the week following the announcement.
   *. Shorten the commitment time.
   * Do away with the resume for group service.  It sounds like a job I
need to know how to do before I apply.

Just a few thoughts.

Beyond that it
is my hope that the BM can contribute ideas which may improve our
members' willingness to fill these service positions.
