[Businessmtg] Redefining role & duties of LA and Founder

Hi ASP Friends,
Wow, there is alot to digest here, and I can only eat an elephant one bite at a time.

My first comment in addressing the scope of the topic is prompted by suggestion that there be "helpers" similar to Greeters.  As a new Greeter, I have noticed that I receive many questions that actually are addressed in the links, if the person used it as suggested in the very first welcome.  I think Steve also addressed that in his report - alot of the "work" is repetitious simply because people being people, they don't read directions or start asking questions before they do.
So, as with anything, this takes time away from the actual tasks at hand, but it will probably always be this way.  I don't think there  a solution other than maybe a diversion or rerouting to someone other than the LA or Founder.

This doesn't address the action or inaction of redefining the roles and duties, but I'm thinking out loud for now in the discussion, just to try to get perspective.
