I'm so grateful for this group and for those who have volunteered to chair
the daily discussions.  I rely on this group for my recovery.
I am not in favor of changing the requirements for daily chairs at this
time for two reasons --
There's good reason to believe that the current difficulty finding people
to chair is just a temporary thing.  Folks who have been around for a long
time say that it hasn't been a problem in the past.  With the huge influx
of new members, there's a good chance it won't be a problem in the future.
The rules we have in place now have produced a really effective system for
keeping the meetings open, accepting, and healthy.  With the huge influx of
new members, I think continuity is about to become a big challenge for us.
Keeping our tried and true system for the time being seems to me to be the
best choice.
