[Businessmtg] chairperson requirements

Based on the posts, I can see that there is wisdom to expecting our
chairpersons to have 6 months active service on ASP.  I also see that
although it rarely happens, we have occasional instances where a sitting
chair has to be asked to continue to serve because of insufficient
volunteers.

I lean towards doing what gets more people into service, so if there's a
way to add a bit more flexibility into requirements so that the 6 month
active participation in ASP is not set in stone, that would be good to me.
Maybe to say that the normal requirement to be considered as a meeting
chair is 6 months active participation in ASP; however, should a situation
arise where we do not have enough qualified volunteers to fill vacancies
for this position, persons who have several years Al-Anon experience and
have been active in ASP at least 4 months can be considered, with
preference going to the person with the longest time in ASP.
